Crochet Scottie Dog, Cat Potholders Design 2976

Crocheted Scottie Dog and Cat Potholders: These two potholders are made of four strands of Crochet and Knitting Cotton worked together. The designs are worked entirely in single crochet. Included in the pattern is a chart for each potholder, also directions describing how the charts are to be used. They can be made either in unbleached and a color to match your kitchen; in two contrasting colors or in two shades of the same color.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2976 in 1941.
