 "This lacy "pineapple" doily was designed and made in Akron; Ohio and is so attractive I want all my pineapple doily collectors to have its five-pointed, with six-inch pineapples and measuring a good twenty inches across, it is one of the handsomest examples of crocheting I've yet seen - Mrs. Anne Cabot".

Description

20 Inch Doily:  This pattern contains directions to crochet the doily pictured.  The centerpiece doily design is created with a 5 large pineapple petals joined with pretty flower center and scalloped edges.   It is a centerpiece design measuring 20 inches in diameter.

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5806 in 1951.   This pattern was included in the Anne Cabot 1945/46 Needlework Album. 

Material:   1 large ball of White Knit-Cro-Sheen;   Needle: #3 steel crochet hook.
