Crochet Nosegay Doily Pattern

Nosegay Doily Pattern :   This vintage 1951 pattern contains directions to crochet the pretty doily shown.  This doily has been officially labeled a Nosegay Doily.   Now, typically a nosegay was a small bouquet of flowers gifted someone special.  So, perhaps, the flowers were, at times, wrapped in small doilies.   Or, maybe not. When completed this doily will measure 11-3/4 inches in diameter.

Materials:   J.& P. Coats or Clark's O. N. T. Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet Cotton, size 100, 2 balls of white;  steel crochet hook No. 15.
