Description

Crocheted Doilies:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured.   Worked in three colors of crochet cotton, the 11-1/2 inch doily features a delightful daisy border  "White daisies with yellow centers form a wreath around a green swirl of leaves.  The daisy medallions are made separately, then joined by opposite petals to to form a continuous daisy-chain and then attached to the green doily with a round of crochet".  The finished doily will measure 11-1/2 inches.

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspapers.   This pattern was marketed as No 336 by Ellen Bruce, National Needlework Bureau in 1950.  This pattern was included in the 1962 Little Catalog of Just Doilies.  

Materials:   Mercerized Crochet Cotton #30, #10 crochet—hook.  (This will make a doily about 11 inches in diameter. White, Yellow, and Shaded Green will be needed -- one ball of each, will make more than one doily).
