Crochet Capelet Pattern in Shell Stitch Design 5946

Soft Capelet: This pattern gives directions to crochet the capelet pictured. This attractive design is worked in shell stitch in a primary and contrasting color. The waist length design features a large collar, frog closure and lush fringe all the way around. The pattern is sized small, medium and large.

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot No 5946 in 1982.

Materials:  RED HEART 4-Ply Knitting Worsted in Main. Color desired: 13 (14, 15) ounces - 2 ( 2, 3) ounces in Contrasting Color;   RED HEART 4-Ply Knitting Worsted in color desired for fringe and frog;   Crochet Hooks Crochet Hook Steel No. 2 for capelet. (This may seem small but it works to the necessary gauge.)
