Description
Mail Order 2227 : This pattern contains directions to crochet the bolero shown. This is an enchanting piece; a bolero with a large cape attached that ends in flower trim. There are actually two different flowers in the trim. For further delight, beads and sequins are used to adorn the flowers. Note: There are no size guidelines stated in the documents. I would suggest that sizing would fit misses 12 to 18 - the standard size range for patterns in this age group - 1954.

The newspaper description: "Crochet this pretty cape bolero from soft white yarn (or your favorite color) to wear over the summer frocks, or in the evening to ward off chilly breezes".
