Baby Layette:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the four piece baby set pictured.   Included are a bunting, a cardigan/sacque, bonnet and booties worked in Orlon 3-ply yarn with ribbon ties and button closures.  The set is infant sized.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Custom Collections 114 - an Anne Cabot special series.  

MATERIALS COATS & CLARK'S "RED HEART" ORLON, 3 Ply (2 oz. "Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): No. 723 Baby Pink: 9 ozs. for Bunting; 4 ozs. for either Sacque or Cardigan, 2 ozs. for Bonnet and Booties. 1-inch satin ribbon: 1 yard for Sacque; 2 yards for Bonnet. 1/4-inch satin ribbon: 2 yards for Booties; 1 yard for Bunting. 1-1/2-inch satin ribbon: 1 yard for Bunting. 5 Buttons for Cardigan 2 Large Snap Fasteners for Bunting. Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 0 for all items except Bunting. Crochet Hook Size G for Bunting.
