Crocheted Afghan: This pattern contains directions to to crochet the afghan / throw pictured. This afghan may be worked in scraps—each square different--or with the same colors throughout. Color schemes and material requirements are given below.
Each square is 6 x 6 inches. For an afghan approximately 48 x 66 inches work 88 square. Join in 8 rows of 11 in a row. For a pillow 18 x 18 inches work 9 squares. Join into a square. You will need yard of 36 inch material and a 17 inch foundation cushion. Cut two pieces of the material and join three sides. Insert pillow and sew shut. Sew squares to pillow top.
