Description
Crocheted Doily: This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured. This design, a cluster stitch doily is a a rather spoke and wheel motif. It's an easy beginner design. When size 50 crochet cotton is used the completed doily measures about 9", naturally, a coarser thread will give you a larger doily. This pattern, vintage 1950s, was issued as Coats & Clarks leaflet No 670M.
The size crochet hook needed depends upon the thread used—a number 7 or 8 would be good for size 30 crochet cotton and number 10 or 11 for size 50 cotton.
