Classy Knitted Dress Pattern with Striped Bodice

One Piece Striped Dress: This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the dress shown. What a classy design! It is vintage 1948 from Bear Brand. The top and skirt are worked separately and then joined to become the one piece dress. The top, with high neckband and long sleeves, has horizontal stripes in three contrasting colors. The skirt is one of the chosen contrast colors, is straight and below knee (or desired) length. This vintage knit design is sized for misses 14, 16 and 18.

Materials:   Bear Brand or Bucilla Caprice, Main Color 20 (21,22) 1-oz. skeins. Contrasting Colors, A, 2 skeins; B, 4 skeins; C, 4 skeins;   No. 2 circular knitting needle;   No. 3 steel crochet hook.
