Childs Knitted Suit Pattern, Jacket and Skirt Design 758

Childs Knitted Suit : This pattern contains directions for a child's jacket and skirt to be combined for a suit or they can be worn separately. The jacket is double-breasted, with a smart block panel at front; the skirt, done in ribbing, simulates pleats. The pattern includes four sizes; 2, 4, 6 and 8.

This is a Mail Order Pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 758.  The newspaper description:  "Suit or separates! Year 'round outfit, pretty for parties, practical for every day. New knit hit - a fortune to buy, so easy to make. Just knit, purl stitches".   The pattern was included in the 1966 Needlecraft Patterns Catalog as well as the Needlework Patterns 1968 Catalog.
