Butterfly Motif Runner Crochet Pattern

Butterfly Runner : This pattern contains directions to crochet butterfly motifs:   Coats and Clarks called this vintage early 1950s pattern a Butterfly Runner.   And, I have to say, the Butterflies do look great on this cloth.   Make up the 16 Large and 2 small butterflies and attach them to a cloth to create the attractive runner.   Or stitch up the butterflies in colors of your choice and attach them to other objects of desire.  

Materials:

•  - J & P. Coats Tatting-Crochet, Size 70, 6 balls of No. 9 Yellow, 5 balls of No. 76 China Blue, 2 balls of No. 12 Black
• - Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 13
• - 1/2 yard of pale blue organdy, 36 inches wide.
