Bluebird Filet Crochet Cloth Pattern Design 5384

Filet Crocheted Square : This pattern contains directions to work the filet crochet design shown. A lovely Bluebird and Rose design, it can be made as an 18 inch square (for pillowtops), or a 21 inch square for TV or other cover.

This is a mail order pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5384.    

Materials:  For Pillow Top -- Approximately 18" square 2 Balls of Mercerized Crochet Cotton No. 30 (400 yds. to each ball) & Steel Crochet Hook -- No. 11 or 12;   For T.V. Cover -- Approximately 21" square 4 Balls Mercerized Crochet Cotton No. 20 (300 yds. to each ball) Steel Crochet Hook -- No. 10 or 11.
