Striped Slipover : This pattern gives instructions for knitting the slipover shown. This pattern takes us back to 1951 where it was featured in a magazine as a Minerva Knitting Worsted promotion. The official description: "Beauty lines indicate a long, happy life for this slip-over. Heavy enough for skating and skiing, handsome enough for sit-by-the-fire glamour. Green and blue knit-in strip on white; side neck closing."
Sizes: Directions are for size 12. Changes for sizes 14 and 16 are in parentheses.
- Minerva Knitting Worsted, 3 (4-4) 4-oz. skeins White, 1 skein each Blue and Green.
- "Boye" 14" knitting needles Nos. 3 and 4 (standard). English sizes, 10 and 9.
