Knitted Blanket : This pattern contains instructions for knitting the blanket pictured. This is a vintage 1942 pattern referenced as a Boudoir Blanket, I assume for taffeta ribbon the borders the edges. Now, this picture is not worthy to tell the design, but it is a very easy pattern stitch, worked in a diamond motif in two contrasting colors to form a checkerboard type effect. The finished blanket is 58 x 70 inches and can be made larger by adding diamond rows.
In case you'd like to give it a try, the pattern is offered as a free download in appreciation of my customers' business (versus not processing at all). Not a customer; just want the pattern. No problem; but how about following me on Facebook in exchange?
