Product Description
Crochet Toque : The pattern contains instructions to crochet the hat pictured above. The official 1950s pattern from McCalls refers to the hat as a toque, however, as the height is not too tall, I would think it is more along the lines of a cloche. The design is full of texture and delight. It's ready to attach a favored adornment, or wear plain. It is medium, for a 22 inch head.
MATERIALS:
- - Hiawatha Tweed Corde (A), Art. 32, 2 tubes Salt and Pepper. Hiawatha Persian Curl (B), Art. 31, one 36- yd. skein black.
- - Plastic crochet hook No. 6.
- - Large safety pin ornament.
- - 1/2 yard 1" grosgrain ribbon for bow.
GAUGE: 2 sc and ch-I sp = 1".
Note: Entire hat is made with 2 strands corde worked over 1 strand Persian Curl.
