Ripple Afghan in Knit: This pattern gives directions to knit, crochet edging, the afghan pictured. This is a ripple motif worked in three colors of Knitting Worsted. The ripple motifs and made in panels that are joined together to form an afghan that will measure 48 x 58 inches -- before the optional fringe.

This is a Mail Order Pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern is No 5651 in the Anne Cabot number series.


  • "Red Heart" Knitting Worsted, 4 Ply: 22 ozs. of Emerald; 12 ozs. each of Mid Orange and Yellow.
  • Circular Needle No. 9 (29" length); Crochet Hook Size G; one double-pointed needle. NOTE: A circular needle is used to accommodate the stitches. Work is done in rows.
