Carol Curtis

The Carol Curtis Needlecraft Feature made it's appearance in newspapers in 1953/54.  The Carol Curtis brand started with transfer patterns, then moved to crochet, with a sprinkling of knitting and other crafts.  The brand, part of the Peerless Syndicate, was sold to General Features in late 1956.   The new syndicate continued the same line of patterns (from Needlework Bureau), but discontinued the Carol Curtis brand in favor of a new name - Martha Madison.
